New Discovery Stiemerheide

De Kristalijn, boasting one Michelin star, is the Belgian domain of chef Koen Somers. It’s a hypermodern restaurant housed in an elegantly minimalistic concrete and glass building. The clean lines continue inside, harmonising with the warm and luxurious decor. 

The huge windows make for wonderful views, and on summer days they open completely, transforming the restaurant into an exclusive terrace. The open kitchen adds atmosphere. 

De Kristalijn is part of Hotel Stiemerheide. The hotel in cottage style is strategically located at the 18th hole of Golfclub Spiegelven. The rooms and suites will be entirely renovated in spring 2019. In the grounds of Stiemerheide, the golf course surrounds a lake known to locals as ‘the mirror of heaven’. Each hole has a character of its own, in a natural landscape of woods, heathland and water so varied that you’ll never tire of playing on this challenging course. The hills and slopes create unforgettably picturesque views.
