On the shores of the river Maas in Limburg lies the idyllic village of Dilsen-Stokkem. Alex and Marianne Clevers renovated old chaplain’s residence, built in 1734, to make their dream come true in transforming it into a restaurant and hotel. Meticulously restored, the building’s history was fully preserved, including the age-old mantelpieces and vaulted ceilings.
