In one of the most southern villages of Belgium, Torgny, you will find the enchanting inn La Grappe d’Or near the Luxembourg and French borders. The village has been voted one of the prettiest in Wallonia. The region’s mild climate allows for slightly elevated temperatures compared to the rest of the country.

The cosy guest rooms are on the ground floor and the first floor. The comfortable rooms feature carefully chosen beautiful natural materials such as Belgian blue limestone tiles and hardwood flooring.

Chef Clément Petitjean only works with quality produce, creating innovative, daring and original dishes. He serves contemporary cuisine in yesterday’s setting. Semois valleys

The Gaume region is rich in historical monuments. Around its capital, Virton, alone, you will find 100 castles and 150 religious monuments well worth a visit. If you add the privately owned historical sites and local monuments, exploring all will be nigh impossible. Gaume’s natural surroundings are also impressive. Fertile soil and shelter against the fierce north winds have created a haven for nature lovers. Less elevated than the Ardennes region, Gaume is ideal for long walks or bicycle rides.
