Hotel de Sterrenberg is located close to the western entrance to De Hoge Veluwe National Park, the largest private estate in the Netherlands. The hotel’s warm interior is above all inspired by its immediate surroundings. Natural materials such as natural stone, sturdy concrete and wood feature prominently in the hotel’s interior. Even the art work reflects nature.
Restaurant Cèpes’ cuisine is pure and honest. The chef mainly sources local produce. Hotel de Sterrenberg offers a lot of extras; there is a large indoor swimming pool, a warm relax pool with bubbles and jets, a fitness area, a tepidarium, a steam bath and saunas.
Hotel de Sterrenberg offers the use of electric bicycles to discover the Park’s many attractions. Such as, the Kröller-Müller Museum, the Museonder and St Hubertus Hunting Lodge. National Museum Paleis Het Loo, with its stately palace garden and park, is a 15-minute drive away.

The restaurant Cèpes' menu is international and seasonal. The decor is modern with natural elements. The bar is part of the cozy lounge. There is a fireplace and a reading table with all kinds of newspapers and magazines.

Hotel de Sterrenberg is surrounded by a large landscaped garden with several seating areas for guests. A jeu-de-boules alley is located on the other side of the hotel. There is a sheltered terrace at the front of Hotel de Sterrenberg, on the side is a cozy covered lounge, overlooking the garden, a bike lodge, a meadow and the Veluwe forests. From early spring until the end of the summer, this is an excellent location to enjoy lunch and dinner.
You can play table tennis and jeu-des-boules in the magnificent garden. In the surroundings there are woods, moors, sand and meadow. National Park De Hoge Veluwe offers many possibilities to go hiking and biking. The Sterrenberg has its own bikes for guests. In the park there is a number of special attractions including the Kröller-Müller Museum, St. Hubertus Hunting Lodge and Museonder. Walks with the ranger, painting classes and picnics can be arranged. National Museum Palace Het Loo is a 15 minute drive.
