Boutique Hotel Seven one Seven is on the Prinsengracht, one of the idyllic canals in Amsterdam’s city centre UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once the residence and sugar mill of a wealthy merchant, Hotel Seven One Seven is as impressive on the outside as it is on the inside. The buildings date from the 17th century, the house on the canal at number 717 is 19th century.
The interior of the nine suites is antique combined with modern and African art. Since 2020, the hotel has also had two family suites and a double deluxe suite, bringing the total number of suites to 12. The family suites in the new wing of the hotel sleep a maximum of four, and each have a traditional box-bed and a king-size bed.
Breakfast is served in your suite or in the Strawinsky room. Weather permitting, you can also have breakfast on the patio. Hotel Seven one Seven is easily accessible by car and public transport. There is a parking garage on the opposite side of the canal. The Concertgebouw and all the city’s museums are within walking distance.
The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but in Amsterdam that should not be a problem. There are numerous reputable restaurants in the immediate surroundings. Breakfast is served in the Stravinsky Room. The Hall has been designed with gleaming copper candle holders and is flanked on the patio side by monumental French windows. Weather permitting of course the five colossal French windows will be opened and the patio instantly becomes a part of this special room.
The patio can be found at the back. On a summer day it is a cool place to consume a drink under the sunshade in the afternoon or to enjoy a wonderful breakfast in the morning sun. The patio is enriched with an old maple tree and enough green to make your summer plans for an exciting day in this world-famous city.

The hotel is located on the Prinsengracht, near the Leidsestraat in the heart of the Amsterdam ring of canals.
