QL is delighted to welcome Gutshaus Stolpe (Stolpe an der Peene, Germany). This beautiful hotel/restaurant is situated on an estate of 150 hectares that is populated by many species of birds and alongside the river Peene. The English-style country house can be reached by driving up the lime tree lane that opens up the estate to the assorted buildings on the property such as a thatched ferry house and the remains of an 11th century monastery.
The Gutshaus hosts a renowned restaurant, awarded with a Michelin star. The comprehensive breakfast is also served here. When the sun is out, breakfast will be served on the adjacent terrace. The second restaurant can be found in the 300 year old Stolper Färhkrug with a lovely view on the river Peene and serves extraordinary tasteful regional dishes as well as an excellent steak. The Maître de maison is the charming Mathias Laux, Chef de cuisine is Björn Swanson.
