The Lafarques property and the Ardenne Bleue landscape seem almost English in appearance with rolling hills and cottage style houses. In the forests of Domaine des Douys the estate of Lafarques was erected in 1927 as the residence of the Zurstrassen family, whose wealth derived from the textile trade. The guest rooms on the first and second floor are individually styled. The rooms offer unique views of the estate.
The restaurant used to be the region’s gastronomical landmark, run at the time by Chef Michel Lafarque and his wife Agnes. Those were the days of culinary esteem and Michelin stars. Current Chef David Fricaud’s greatest wish is to honour that rich tradition. Enjoy fine dining and a perfect stay in the Belgian Ardennes.
